LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight comes with a wide range of bonus content — from pre-order suits and account-linked rewards to full DLC expansions and physical LEGO set integration. This guide covers every single piece of bonus content available at launch and beyond, so you know exactly what you are getting with your purchase.
Edition Comparison
Two editions are available at launch. Here is exactly what each one includes:
| Content | Standard ($69.99) | Deluxe ($89.99) |
|---|---|---|
| Base Game | Yes | Yes |
| Pre-Order: Dark Knight Returns Batsuit | Yes | Yes |
| WB Account: Golden Age Batsuit | Yes (free) | Yes (free) |
| 72-Hour Early Access (May 19) | No | Yes |
| Legacy Collection (3 launch packs) | No | Yes |
| Mayhem Collection (Sep 2026) | No | Yes |
The Deluxe Edition costs $20 more than Standard but includes all four DLC packs (21 suits at launch + 7 more in September + 4 Batmobiles + Batcave props) and 3-day early access. Buying the DLC separately would cost approximately $45+, making the Deluxe Edition a significant saving for fans who want everything.
Legacy Collection (Launch DLC)
The Legacy Collection is a bundle of three themed packs available at launch, each containing 7 suits, 1 Batmobile, and 5 Batcave props. Included in the Deluxe Edition or available as standalone purchases.
Arkham Trilogy Pack
Suits inspired by Rocksteady's iconic Batman: Arkham series. This pack pays homage to one of the most beloved video game trilogies of all time, bringing the gritty, detailed aesthetic of Arkham into the LEGO world.
- 7 suits — including Batman's designs from Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, plus alternate villain and ally skins from the series
- 1 Batmobile — Arkham-inspired Batmobile design
- 5 Batcave props — decorative items from the Arkham universe
Batman Beyond Pack
Futuristic suits from the Batman Beyond animated series (1999-2001). Step into the high-tech world of Terry McGinnis, the Batman of the future.
- 7 suits — Terry McGinnis's Beyond batsuit, alternate color schemes, and future-themed designs
- 1 Batmobile — the sleek, flying Beyond Batmobile
- 5 Batcave props — Neo-Gotham-themed decorations for your Batcave
Party Music Pack
Music-themed suits celebrating Batman's musical legacy across film, TV, and animation. A playful, creative pack that adds a unique flavor to your suit collection.
- 7 suits — designs inspired by Prince's Batman soundtrack, the 1960s Batman theme, orchestral Batman scores, and more
- 1 Batmobile — music-themed vehicle design
- 5 Batcave props — musical and concert-themed decorations
Mayhem Collection (September 2026)
The Mayhem Collection is a post-launch DLC expansion arriving in September 2026. It is included in the Deluxe Edition and also available as a standalone purchase. This is the most substantial DLC for the game, adding new story content and a fresh way to play.
New Story Mission: Arkham Breakout
Play as Joker and Harley Quinn in an original narrative campaign. Break out of Arkham Asylum by causing chaos across its secure wards, recruiting other villains to your cause, and orchestrating the largest prison break in Gotham's history. The story mission features unique gameplay mechanics focused on trickery, explosives, and mayhem — a stark contrast to Batman's more methodical approach.
Mayhem Mode
A brand-new game mode where you cause chaos across Gotham City as the villains. Unlike the main campaign's structured missions, Mayhem Mode is a sandbox of destruction with its own objectives, score tracking, and unlockable rewards. Smash through the city as the Clown Prince of Crime, completing challenges like causing a certain dollar amount of property damage, evading the GCPD across rooftops, and setting elaborate traps for Batman.
Sinister Pack
Part of the Mayhem Collection, this pack adds 7 villain-themed suits, 1 Batmobile, and a Batcave prop set. Suits are inspired by iconic Batman villains including Joker, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and more. These suits are available for Batman to wear in the main campaign, offering a unique role-reversal aesthetic.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Pre-ordering any edition of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight from any participating retailer unlocks exclusive bonus content. Note that pre-order bonuses may vary by region and retailer.
The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit
Available with all pre-orders across every platform and retailer. Based on Frank Miller's legendary 1986 graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns, this suit features:
- An older, grizzled Batman design with a larger, more imposing physique
- The iconic yellow chest emblem on a black field
- Gray fabric with armored plating, reflecting the comic's older Batman aesthetic
- Available in-game at any Batcave suit station after redemption
Note: Pre-order bonuses may be available as paid DLC after launch, but this has not been confirmed by WB Games.
Deluxe Edition: 72-Hour Early Access
Deluxe Edition owners gain 72-hour early access to the full game, starting May 19, 2026 instead of the global May 22 release date. This applies across all platforms — PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Progress carries over seamlessly to the full launch day, so any suits, upgrades, or story progress made during early access is retained.
WB Games Account Bonus
Signing up for a free WB Games account unlocks the Golden Age Batsuit — completely free, no purchase necessary beyond the game itself.
Golden Age Batsuit (1939)
- Inspired by Batman's very first appearance in Detective Comics #27 (1939)
- Features the original purple gloves, red cape lining, and the classic bat-symbol design
- A must-have for comic book history enthusiasts and collectors
How to Claim
- Create a free account at the WB Games website
- Link your platform account (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, or Epic Games Store)
- Launch the game — the Golden Age Batsuit will be available automatically at any suit station
Tip: Do this before starting your first playthrough so you can wear the classic suit from the very beginning.
HBO Max Account Link
Subscribers to HBO Max (now simply called Max) can link their streaming account to their WB Games account to unlock two exclusive suits:
Dark Knights of Steel Batsuit
Inspired by the DC comic crossover event Dark Knights of Steel, which reimagines Batman and the DC universe in a medieval fantasy setting. This suit features armor plating and a medieval aesthetic — Batman as a knight of Gotham.
Black Lantern Batsuit
Inspired by HBO's upcoming Lanterns series. This suit combines Batman's silhouette with the undead Black Lantern aesthetic from the Blackest Night comic event. A dark, glowing power ring emblem adorns the chest.
Requirements
- An active HBO Max (Max) subscription
- A WB Games account linked to both your platform and your HBO Max account
- Available in supported regions only (check WB Games for regional availability)
LEGO Set Integration (Build at Home)
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight features an innovative integration with physical LEGO DC Batman sets. Buying select LEGO sets unlocks exclusive in-game content. This "Build at Home" program bridges the gap between physical brick-building and digital gameplay.
| LEGO Set | Price | In-Game Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Batman Logo 76330 | TBD | Gold character Batsuit (exclusive) |
| Batman v Superman Batmobile 76331 | TBD | Batmobile + gold variant (exclusive) |
| The Batman Batmobile 76332 | TBD | Batmobile + gold variant (exclusive) |
| Batman & Robin Batmobile 76333 | TBD | In-game vehicle unlock |
How It Works
Each physical LEGO set contains a unique QR code or digital code inside the box. Scan the code with the LEGO Builder app or enter it on the WB Games redemption portal to unlock the corresponding in-game item.
Gold Variants Explained
Standard Batmobile variants (the regular versions of the vehicles) are earnable through normal gameplay in the open world. However, the gold variants are exclusive to physical set buyers only. These are not obtainable through any other means, making them true collector's items for LEGO enthusiasts who also play the game.

Which Edition Should You Buy?
If you are reading this guide, you are probably the kind of player who wants to know about every piece of bonus content — and for you, the Deluxe Edition is the clear choice. The $20 premium delivers $45+ worth of DLC, plus the 3-day early access. If you plan to buy even one of the suit packs separately, the Deluxe Edition already pays for itself.
However, if you only care about the base game and do not mind missing out on cosmetic suits, the Standard Edition delivers the same full campaign, open-world Gotham, and core gameplay experience. DLC packs can always be purchased later if you change your mind.
